Chimpanzee tracking in Rwanda
A special activity whereby you go looking for the chimpanzees by foot. You leave very early in the morning to get the starting point of the chimp tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park. This park is the home to approx. 500 chimpanzees, but also many other primate species, which you might meet along your tracking. Before you start, you will get a briefing about the behavioral rules during your encounter with the chimps. Once you have spotted the chimpanzees, you have an hour to enjoy these special and impressive animals. A very different experience from the mountain gorilla tracking as chimpanzees are more agile and playful. Costs for this activity are $90 p.p. and there is a minimum age of 15 years.
