Day 5 & 6

Lake Naivasha & Hell's Gate

Stay these days at the shores of Lake Naivasha; this fresh water lake is one of the Great Rift Valley’s jewels. In the afternoon a 1-hour boat ride is planned.  This is a good way to explore the lake with unique chances of seeing hippos and different species of birds.
The next day, bring a visit to Hells Gate National Park where walking/riding is done in the middle of wildlife like giraffes, zebras, warthogs and many types of gazelles.

Accommodation: 2 nights in a lake front banda at Camp Carnelleys incl. full board

Day 7 & 8

Leave Naivasha and see the landscape changing into typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai herdsmen and their cattle.
The next day is a full day game drive in the Amboseli National Park. This is one of Kenya’s most popular parks and on a clear day, you can even see the top of Africa’s highest peak Mount Kilimanjaro.

Accommodation: 2 nights at Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp incl. full board

Day 9

Ziwani

Enjoy a scenic route along the Tanzanian border to the Ziwani conservancy. In this small private reserve you will enjoy the  beautiful view of the Mount Kilimanjaro and the views over the dam and spot the hippo’s and crocs. In the afternoon you go on a guided walking safari and when it gets dark you go on a night safari in this small reserve, looking for the animals that you do not see during the day.

Accommodation: 1 night at Ziwani Voyager Camp incl. full board

Day 10

Tsavo West National Park

Today you leave early to the adjacent Tsavo West. Tsavo West and East form the largest protected natural area in Kenya.
