Golden Monkey Tracking in Rwanda

The golden monkey is not known by many people though this primate is a real beauty! This highly endangered species can – like the mountain gorilla – be found in the Volcanoes National Park. A graceful monkey that skillfully swings back and forth between the bamboo and tall trees.

A golden monkey tracking experience costs $100 p.p. and is definitely worth it. Since these monkeys don’t live very deep in the park, this trek is less difficult than the gorilla tracking.
