Day 1
Arrival in Kigali
Morning/Afternoon
After a long flight you will be met by our guide/driver to check in at the hotel. A quiet first day of the trip to start your safari through beautiful Rwanda well rested.

Day 2
Kigali to Akagera National Park
Morning/Afternoon
After breakfast, drive towards the Akagera National Park located in the east of Rwanda. A beautiful park with a savannah landscape where the entire Big 5 can be spotted!
Afternoon
In the afternoon a boat trip on Lake Ilhema is on the planning. Spot the animals that come in and around the water to drink and cool off.

Day 3
Akagera National Park
Morning/Afternoon
A full-day game drive is planned for today with a picnic lunch to discover the park. Because lions and black rhinoceroses were reintroduced a few years ago, the entire Big 5 is present in this park. There is also a beautiful rich bird life. Enjoy the facilities at this intimate eco-lodge in the afternoon.

Day 4
Akagera National Park to Musanze
Morning/Afternoon
After breakfast, it is time to leave the safari part of the journey. Travel on to Musanze, a beautiful city and the entrance gate for gorilla trekking and golden monkey trekking.
Afternoon
A restful afternoon, make use of the hotel's facilities. There is also the opportunity to discover the city – the afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 5
Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Morning/Afternoon
Gorilla trekking today! After a briefing by the rangers, it's time to look for the gorillas. The hike to get to the gorillas varies and takes between 2 and 6 hours.
Once with the gorillas, there is an hour to watch them play, rest and observe the division of roles in the family. Return to the hotel to rest from this impressive experience.

Day 6
Golden Monkey Trekking – Volcanoes National Park
Morning/Afternoon
Today the golden monkey trekking is on the program. This is less intensive trekking than gorilla trekking but certainly also a spectacular hike. Once arrived at the beautiful golden monkeys, there is an hour to be together. In the afternoon there is time to relax and rest.

Day 7
MusanzE – Kigali
Morning/Afternoon
After breakfast drive back to Kigali, the beautiful capital of Rwanda. In the afternoon a guided city tour through this special city is planned. Visit the Kigali genocide memorial site, the Rwanda Art museum and get to know the city that is busy developing and of course the history that this country carries with it.

Day 8
Kigali
Morning/Afternoon
The last day of the journey has arrived. It's time to pack up and check out of the hotel. Drive to Rwanda International Airport for your connecting flight back home.
