Boat ride Murchison Falls
The Murchison Falls are located in the northwest of Uganda in Murchison Falls National Park. The many rivers and lakes in this park provide impressive flora & fauna.
A fun activity in this park is to go by boat upstream towards the falls. Along the trip, you will pass by hippos, crocodiles, and more animals. Once the boat reaches the falls, you have the option to get on shore and climb to the top of the falls to watch the Nile water fall down. This boat trip lasts 3 hours and departs twice a day.
An alternative boat trip you can undertake is going downstream through the delta to Lake Albert.
This boat trip takes between 4 and 5 hours and will take you through swampy areas. Keep your eyes open because you might be lucky and spot the rare shoe-billed stork here!
