Day 1

Arrival Entebbe

Upon arrival at the international airport you are met by our representative outside the terminal building and transferred to the Hotel no. 5.

Accommodation 1 night at Hotel no. 5 on bed and breakfast basis

Day 2 & 3

Kidepo National Park

Fly in the morning to the Kidepo Valley airstrip. Be awaited by your guide and go to the lodge for a delicious lunch. Enjoy extensive game drives in the Kidepo Valley National Park and visit the Kanangorok hot springs. The park is one of the best national parks in Uganda with high chances to see lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes and large numbers of buffalo and the park is also known as home to the Somali Ostriches.

Day 4

Visit the Karamojong tribe

On this day a visit is planned to the local village Karamonjo. Learn more from this tribe and visit their homesteads called manyattas. The Karamojong is a nomadic tribe residing in the north-east of Uganda. They live in the beautiful Moroto district, a relatively unknown and unspoiled gem in nature. This tribe traditionally lives on milk, the blood and the meat of their cows and goats.

Day 5 & 6

Murchison Falls National Park

The journey continues to the Murchison Falls National Park; one of the most beautiful national parks of Uganda. One of the main attractions is the Nile, with the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the whole Nile is forced through a narrow gorge and falls 60 meters. In addition to game drives, a boat cruise on the Nile and a hike to the top of waterfalls is included.

Day 7

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary the only place in Uganda where you can see the white Rhino and also get a chance to watch these brilliant creatures in their natural habitat and free to move around.  Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit.

Day 8

Kibale Forest National Park

The safari proceeds to the Kibali Forest; a spectacular jungle with 13 primate species! If time allows you will stop in Bigodi; a local village where the residents would like to tell and show you more about (for example a visit to a traditional healer).

Dag 9

Chimp trekking

Go (by foot) on a chimpanzee trek experience as well as other primates, like baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, grey cheeked mangabey and L’Hoest monkey. In the afternoon visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary; a bird watchers paradise and also very rich in diversity and scenic beauty.

Day 10 & 11

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Pass the equator before arriving at the Queen Elizabeth National Park. For the next days you can enjoy extensive game drives in the most popular park of Uganda. It is also possible to do a lion tracking experience (optional). One of these days in the afternoon a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel is arranged; one of the highlights of Uganda and with the highest concentration of hippos in the world.

Day 12

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Game drive en-route in southern direction through the Ishasha-sector of the park. Continue the journey to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable; a unique jungle, with many monkey species. Bwindi is one of the two places in the world where you can find mountain gorillas!

Day 13

Gorilla trekking Bwindi

Today is dedicated to the gorilla trekking. Led by rangers and a few other visitors, you will explore the jungle to spot mountain gorillas in the wild. This special experience is one not to forget. Good to know: there is a limit of 10 visitors per gorilla family and you may not stay longer than 1 hour with the mountain gorillas.

Day 14 & 15

Lake Mburo National Park

These days last park of this safari visits the Lake Mburo National Park. Go on a game drive or boat ride over the lake. In the evening there is a night game drive with high chances of seeing leopards.
On the last day pay a visit the Mabamba Swamp, mainly for birding experience through the green woodlands to the vast in search of the famous shoebill. The journey to the international airport will take about 5-6 hours.
