Day 1

Arrival in Entebbe

Morning/Afternoon
After a long flight you will be met by our guide/driver to check in at the hotel. A quiet first day of the trip to start a beautiful journey through Uganda!

Day 2

Entebbe to Semliki Wildlife Reserve (chimp trekking option)

Morning/Afternoon
Take the morning flight to Kasese Airstrip. From here, drive to Kibale National Forest for lunch. In the afternoon there is the option to go on a unique chimpanzee trekking. At the end of the afternoon drive to the Semlike Wildlife Reserve and stay in the fine and luxurious Semliki Safari Lodge.

Day 3

Semliki Wildlife Reserve

Morning/Afternoon
In the early morning a 3-hour boat trip on Lake Albert in search of the rare shoebill stork. Enjoy a nice lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon
In the afternoon you can rest, or discover the Semliki Wildlife Reserve where 4 of the Big 5 can be spotted. In the afternoon there is a sundowner activity planned.

Day 4

Semliki Wildlife Reserve to Bwindi National Park area

Morning
Early morning flight to Kisoro. Then continue to Lake Matunda for a 2-hour boat ride. Opt for a picnic lunch on the boat or lunch on the shores of this lake.
Afternoon
After lunch, drive to the lodge and check-in. In the afternoon a nice walk through the Buniga Forest is on the program, followed by a visit to the traditional Batwa tribe.

Day 5

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National park (excl. Permit)

Morning/Afternoon
Early morning departure to Bwindi National Park. After a full briefing, it's time to find the gorillas. The hike to get to the gorillas takes between 2 and 6 hours.
Once with the gorillas, there is an hour to watch them play, rest and observe the division of roles in the family.

Day 6

Bwindi area to Kidepo National Park

Morning/Afternoon
Today is a longer travel day. Fly from Kisoro Airstrip to Entebbe and then continue to Kidepo National Park. Enjoy a late lunch at the lodge and get some rest.
Afternoon
In the afternoon a first (evening) game drive and finish with a beautiful sundowner. The Kidepo National Park is a jewel! With many different animals and little tourism, it is a true wilderness experience.

Day 7

Kidepo Valley National Park and visit Karamajong tribe

Morning/Afternoon
Discover the Kidepo National Park with a game drive in the morning and afternoon. Visit the Karamajong tribe. A traditionally nomadic tribe that lives off the blood and meat of their cows and goats.

Day 8

Kidepo Valley Nationaal Park

Morning/Afternoon
After a delicious breakfast, a safari walk led by a ranger follows. Use the lodge's facilities for the rest of the day, go on a game drive and end in style with a delicious sundowner.

Day 9

 Kidepo Valley National Park to Entebbe

Morning/Afternoon
The last day of the journey has arrived. Fly to Entebbe in the afternoon and wait at the international airport for your connecting flight back home.
