Day 1

Arrival in Entebbe

Morning/Afternoon
After a long flight you will be met by our guide/driver to check in at the hotel. A quiet first day of the trip to start a beautiful journey through Uganda!

Day 2

Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park

Morning/Afternoon
Enjoy a scenic flight of approx. 2 hours to Kidepo National Park followed by a delicious lunch at the lodge.
Middag
In the afternoon a first (evening) game drive and finish with a beautiful sundowner. The Kidepo National Park is a jewel! With many different animals and little tourism, it is a real wilderness experience.

Day 3

Kidepo Valley National Park

Morning/Afternoon
Discover the Kidepo National Park with a game drive in the morning and afternoon. Visit the Karamajong tribe - a traditionally nomadic tribe that lives off the blood and flesh of their cows and goats.

Day 4

Kipdepo Valley National Park to Semliki Wildlife Reserve

Morning
A morning flight to Semliki Airstrip. Enjoy lunch on arrival at the lodge and make use of all the beautiful facilities. The rest of the day is dedicated to beautiful game drives in this special reserve.

Day 5

Semliki Wildlife Reserve

Morning
In the early morning a 3-hour boat trip on Lake Albert in search of the rare shoebill stork. Enjoy a nice lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon
Rest or discover the Semliki Wildlife Reserve where 4 of the Big 5 can be spotted. A sundowner activity is planned in the afternoon.

Day 6

Semliki Wildlife Reserve to Kibale Forest National Park

Morning
After breakfast, drive to Fort Portal area, approx. 2-hour drive. Arrive for lunch at the beautiful lodge situated at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Afternoon
In the afternoon a beautiful walk of approx. 2 hours is planned around the crater lake that is located at the lodge and enjoy the beautiful nature and views.

Day 7

Kibale Forest National Park

Morning
After an early breakfast it is time to leave for the Kibale Forest National Park. After an extensive briefing you will look for the chimpanzees that live in this forest.
Afternoon
After lunch, a walk through the swamp in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is on the program. The swamp is surrounded by beautiful birds and various species of primates and other animals.

Day 8

Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning/Afternoon
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. A drive of approx. 3 hours. On the way, visit Katwe Salt Lake where salt is extracted. Arrive at the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon/evening there is an opportunity to visit various projects.

Day 9

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning/Afternoon
Go on an extensive game drive in the morning to discover the park. After lunch a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga channel is planned. Spot different types of animals around and in the water and enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna.

Day 10

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Morning/Afternoon
Start the day early with a car journey to Bwindi Forest, accompanied by a picnic lunch. Experience a captivating half-day walk, offering a unique and extensive exploration. Marvel at the splendid birdlife and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Rest assured, porters will be present to assist with your luggage. Conclude the day at the lodge, indulging in a well-deserved dinner and relaxation after the rewarding hike.

Day 11

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Morning/Afternoon
Embark on an early morning journey to Bwindi National Park. Following a comprehensive briefing, set out on an exciting quest to locate the majestic gorillas. The hike to reach them typically spans 2 to 6 hours. Upon reaching the gorillas, relish in an awe-inspiring hour of observing their playful interactions, restful moments, and the intricate dynamics within their family structure.

Day 12

Bwindi to Entebbe

Ochtend/Middag
The last day of the journey has arrived. Fly to Entebbe in the afternoon and wait at the international airport for your connecting flight back home.
